Job description

The Certified Surgical Technologist is a member of the surgical team and works with the surgeon, anesthesia providers and nursing staff to deliver patient care before, during and after surgery.

They will actively participate in perioperative quality initiatives, collaborate with all surgeons to help standardized supplies and equipment for maximum patient throughput and assist with maintaining accurate and current preference cards.

The Tech must assume on call responsibilities and when on call must respond to the hospital and be ready to begin a case within 30 minutes.

Cases are in general surgery, ortho, GYN and ENT. No Cardio, neuro or spine.

Graduate of School of Surgical Technology and BLS required.

Position includes call.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $45.00 - $47.00 per hour
