Cosmetic Surgery Center- Certified Surgical Technician - Per diem/as needed

Esprit Cosmetic Surgeons and the Meridian Center for Surgical Excellence comprise a premier plastic surgery center in Portland. We are recruiting a patient-focused clinical professional with experience as a certified surgical technician.

This is a Per diem hourly position. The candidate would cover for vacation and sick days as needed M/W/F. A typical work shift would be a 6-12 hour shift working independently and/or overlapping another scrub tech. Compensation commensurate with experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

· O.R. set-up

· Solo CST scrubbing on plastic surgery cases in our ASC

· O.R. clean-up/turnover

· Instrument processing (can be trained on the job if needed)

· Scrub and assist with minor procedures in our procedure room

· Surgical supply inventory control, ordering, and stocking and other duties as needed

Required Skills and Abilities:

· Must be able to maintain patient confidentiality, support and apply HIPAA, OSHA, and CDC guidelines

· Must have a warm, outgoing, collegial personality with excellent interpersonal skills, and strong communication skills

· Must be a detail-orientated, reliable, and a motivated individual that can multi-task between our clinic and surgery center

· Strong organization skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Required Experience and Education:

· Must be certified to work in Oregon

· 2+ years’ experience – plastic surgery preferred

Job Type: Per diem/as needed

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour

Proof of vaccinations should be up to date. Should have or be willing to get Covid-19 vaccination.

Pay: $34.00 - $36.00 per hour
