Leading Environmental, Heath and Safety Consulting firm looking for a strong California Asbestos Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) or California Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC).

COMPANY SUMMARY

We provide industrial hygiene, asbestos regulatory compliance consulting, and occupational safety related services, to clients in construction, aerospace, manufacturing, property management, hospital service, higher education and refineries. Areas of expertise include indoor air quality, moisture intrusion and microbial investigation and oversight, chemical exposure assessments, office ergonomics, and compliance air monitoring for silica, asbestos, lead, and respiratory particulates.

DUTIES

• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, telephone/email communications, project monitoring, sampling, performing surveys, interacting with Client with regard to project status, reviewing Contractor field submittals and paperwork, attending progress meetings, providing field quality control, and preparing daily documentation.
• Provide technical services such as physical surveys, visual inspections, air monitoring, sample analysis, and site investigations to support Client programs.

Maintaining accurate and complete written project documentation.

• Coordinating, supervising, and training technical and administrative staff as may be assigned to you.
• Communicating with superiors and clients of project progress and noteworthy events in a timely fashion.
• Maintenance of professional certifications in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations and Company Policy.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws, rules and ordinances and with all applicable company policy.
• Duties include drafting of technical reports (i.e., moisture and microbial, indoor air quality, and job hazards assessments), and assisting other company departments (i.e. Building Sciences, Engineering and Environmental Sciences (EES).

This is a full time direct hire position with a very strong company that has offices in Glendale, Costa Mesa, Valencia and Long Beach.

They offer a strong compensation and benefits package plus, being an ESOP, employees will have equity after 1000 hours. Based on their share performance, it was like adding about 20% to everyone’s wages last year.
