CEP- Support Specialist Machine Repair Technician - 3rd shift- Columbus Engine Plant

We are looking for a talented Support Specialist Machine Repair Technician to join our team for our location in Columbus, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Troubleshoots, assembles, installs, tests and maintains mechanical systems using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable.
• Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment.
• Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and specifications using various tools, measuring, and testing instruments.
• Fully proficient in performing skilled activities expected by their roles in accordance with defined roles and responsibilities.
• Performs and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• Requires 6 years of experience OR an Associate's degree with two-four years of relevant experience OR a Trade certificate with six years of relevant experience OR Department of Labor certification.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic pumps, pressure switches, solenoids, and pressure-reducing valves.
• Ability to read blueprints or schematics.
• Ability to work schedule – 3rdShift, Mon – Fri, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, the opportunity for overtime based on the needs of the facility.
• Pay rate starts at $31.00/hr. with an additional $1.50/hr. shift differential.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
