Centralized Clinical Coder

Description

Clinical Coder staff member assigned office location schedules ensures all patients scheduled has been looked into and either has a superbill created or added to error edit list

Creating superbills with the correct modifiers, providers, locations and appropriate diagnosis codes listed

Reviewing monthly encounter tracking reports to capture any outstanding issues or charges

Verifying the Omega scrubber is accurate and catches error and track the issues, deleted the superbills and add to error lists for corrections

Requirements

Must have CPT and billing knowledge, computer and spreadsheet skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• ICD-10: 1 year (Preferred)
• CPT coding: 1 year (Required)
• Medical coding: 1 year (Required)
