Job Summary

Preparing, processing, handling cargo import/export documentation. Data entry. Provide customer counter service for delivery and pickup. Prepare/distribute documentation to appropriate government agencies. Understand, send and respond to inquiries on tracings/bookings.

Pay Rate: $22/HR

Job Responsibilities

· Capture cargo data and transfer it to the computer

· Process manifests (paperwork) for all freight

· Serve customers and collect charges appropriately

· Distribute paperwork to Customs/Sales Accounting

· Ensure documentation compliance to FAA and U.S. Customs standards

· Properly rate airway bill for charges

· Coordinate flight manifests

· Trace missing items; arrange forward transit

· Handling cash transactions

· Notifying shippers/carriers of problems

· All other duties assigned

Qualifications and Competencies

· High School diploma or GED

· Proficient using office and processing equipment

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· Must be able to work a flexible schedule in a 24 hour operation

· Ability to work in inclement weather
