Position Details:
Pay Range: $20 - $22.25 / hr (based on education/experience)
Schedule: Wednesday / Thursday 12:30pm - 10:30pm, Friday 2:30pm - 10:30pm and Saturday 8:30am - 8:30pm (schedules are subject to change)


The RTC is a beautiful 24-hour, 10-acre campus in the heart of Scottsdale. It is a safe, supportive environment that provides various services to youth, from the ages of 5 to 17, who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, or substance abuse challenges. The Campus features dormitories, a therapeutic K-12 day school, food services, medical/nursing, and therapy services.


As Campus Support, you will supervise the day to day operational functions while attending to the campus needs and shift activities of the Residential Treatment Center to ensure a therapeutic and safe environment. This position will work with individuals in a manner consistent with orientation or on-going trainings, and assists with training and development of staff.

Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or relevant field preferred
  • Two (2) years of experience with children in a residential treatment setting or similar environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites and Profiler
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated skills in the following areas: Therapeutic Interaction Techniques, Crisis Intervention Techniques, problem solving and critical thinking skills, communication skills to mentor, train and coach Behavioral Health Technicians
OTHER:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 39-month history check
  • Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)
  • Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)
  • Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results
  • Must be able to complete and provide proof of current influenza vaccination
  • Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidate’s understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children
