Job description

The Summer Camp, Arts and Crafts Instructor is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading arts and crafts activities for campers ages 3-11. The instructor will have experience in art and design and must be comfortable working with children.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and plan arts and crafts activities tailored to the age group of the campers
• Monitor and supervise campers while they complete the activities
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
• Prepare materials and supplies needed for activities
• Clean and organize arts and crafts area and supplies
• Communicate with parents and camp administrators

Qualifications:

• Experience in art and design
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with a diverse group of campers
• Patience and understanding of children
• High school diploma or better

Position Type: Part-time, seasonal

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
