Aerodyne Industries is currently seeking applicants for a Computer Aided Drafting - CAD Technologist to support various projects at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in Greenbelt, MD.
The CAD Technologist is a team member of CAD support group for all Creo users across NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. The candidate will be responsible for front line support for all GSFC Creo enquires.
Duties:
- Troubleshoot Creo issues by reproducing the problem, contacting the PTC hotline (if needed), verifying suggested remedies, and documenting results.
- Maintains the GSFC Creo hardware library of standard parts and fasteners.
- Maintains GSFC Creo start parts, 2D symbols, and drawing formats; ensures adherence to GSFC standards.
- Helps with special projects such as upgrades, evaluations, training, and deployment of new technology.
Job Requirements:
The CAD Technologist should have at least 1-2 years’ experience using PTC Creo designing hardware for spaceflight instruments. The ideal candidate would also be knowledgeable with NASA design requirements. The candidate will have recently completed a Computer Science or an Engineering degree.
