CABLE TECHNICIAN

We are looking for reliable and organized cable technicians in Hillsborough/Pinellas/Pasco/Manatee Counties to install and repair TV/Data/Voice internet cable systems for residential and commercial customers.

Responsibilities:

• Installation and repair of coax and fiber optic systems for residential and commercial customers.
• Ensuring adequate performance of internet, phone, and if applicable, television services
• Complete pre-install work orders and post-install service verification and customer education to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Place aerial or buried cable drops and install interior and exterior wiring.
• Observe and execute all safety rules.
• Work at heights by using various types of ladders.
• Work in confined spaces.
• Lift up to 80lbs unassisted.
• Must convey a positive and professional appearance and demeanor when communicating the company’s products and services to customers.
• Maintain minimum acceptable KPIs with Recalls, Tools usage, etc.

Qualifications:

• Experience with the installation of copper and fiber-optic cables is a plus but not required. We offer free online and in-field training.
• Effective communication skills.
• Must be accountable and dependable.
• Must have the ability to work overtime depending on the needs of the customer.
• Have the ability to take input from customers, supervisors, leads, and co-workers to problem solve and improve skills.

Requirements:

• Must have the SSN and valid Driver's license
• Must be able to pass a background check, MVR screen, and drug test.
• Must have own tools to perform the job and personal protective equipment (PPE). Including, but not limited to: lace-up boots, a hard hat, a reflective safety vest, a fall resistor, and safety cones (we can assist with procuring all the necessary items).
• White Mini-Van/ Pick-up Truck (we can provide lease vehicles if needed).

Compensation:

This is a full-time, 1099 contractor position. We offer top industry pay. The pay is production based. Our technicians average $1300-2000/week which brings you $60,000 - 90,000 per year!
