Job description
We are seeking a motivated, resourceful Business Process Associate to support operations and controls matters for The Infatuation, a Chase company. As Business Process Associate, you will have responsibility for the overall management of ongoing "business as usual" matters and maintaining controls. You will be responsible for working with both Infatuation and Chase teams to mitigate emerging issues and support the day-to-day operations and controls work of the business.

You will partner with central controls, risk, legal, and compliance teams to understand the current operating environment and report on certain operations risk and controls matters. You will support control reporting, creation of foundational controls, and tackle issue management for the Infatuation, with the end goal of protecting the business and at the same time enabling business growth. In order to best understand The Infatuation's day-to-day operations, this hire will sit within the business and report to our VP, Operations & Legal.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work with Legal, Control, Risk and Compliance teams to maintain an effective control program: schedule and report on foundational controls, procedure and document recertification (Standard Operating Procedures, Process Maps, Controls), Access Management, Record Retention, User Tool Administration.
  • Controls Uplift: Support Infatuation's operations team to effectively manage control and process effectiveness and ensure established controls are appropriately maintained.
  • Monitoring: support appropriate monitoring capabilities, metrics, and governance.
  • Issue Management: support on action plans.
  • CORE: ensure the Control and Operational Risk Evaluation (CORE) framework is evergreen, updating business processes, risks and controls as the business evolves in partnership with Legal, Control, Risk and Compliance partners.
  • Audit and Exams: ensure the business is well prepared for internal audits, Compliance and Risk reviews, and regulator exams; coordinate audit and exam evidence submissions and responses.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • 2+ years of business operations experience at either a startup or enterprise level company.
  • Experience with process improvement, end-to-end process reviews, and change management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to run analysis, identify patterns, and propose efficiencies/solutions.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and/or work streams at once.
  • Works well even in ambiguous situations and can deliver under tight deadlines independently.
