Position Title: Business Development Specialist

Department: Contracting

Reports to: Sr.VP /Chief Operating Officer

Typical work schedule: Full Time, M-Th 8:30am – 5:00pm and Every Other Friday 9:00am – 1:00pm

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate Required

• Some College Preferred

• Contract Negotiation 1 year minimum experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills required

• Prior medical/healthcare industry background a plus, but not required

Currently seeking a Business Development Specialist for our Mansfield, TX based company. Candidate must be able to work independently and as a member of the Business Development team. A Business Development Specialist has duties consisting of the recruitment, development and retention of medical professionals, groups and facilities in private healthcare networks in various U.S. regions. Strong verbal and written communication skills required; and prior contract negotiation experience desired. Prior medical/healthcare industry background a plus, but not required.

The position’s areas of focus include but are not limited to research and identification of medical services providers available to meet specific needs in designated US regions; assistance with compilation of technical data and summaries for federal contract solicitations; internal liaison between operational staff and management; maintaining professional relationships with multiple healthcare providers and physician groups. Other duties may be assigned as required. Must be willing to promote Integrated Medical Solutions through positive industry image.
