Brand Manager – Consumer Products

Irvine, CA/ Full-time

Your responsibilities



Will plan, execute and monitor the Marketing Plan according to the brand strategy and Business Plan defined by the company with the aim of generating a value proposition at all touchpoints of the consumer experience journey and services to increase brand preference, market share, sales and consumer satisfaction.

Build brand awareness, clearly position the brand in consumers’ minds and ensure that all activities inside and outside of BSH including distributors and trade partners are consistent with brand strategy. To protect and expand brand identity and brand equity.




· Oversee and execute marketing budgets on projects


· Plan and execute consistently brand strategy for pre-purchase, purchase and post purchase


· Develop annual BOSCH marketing plan in accordance with brand strategy and business plan


· Drive efforts and lead cross functional teams to create and deliver overarching marketing plans (consensus building, strategic reasoning, competitive insights and best practices)


· Coordinate all activities related to the assigned responsibilities within the team


· Ensure ongoing alignment and collaboration with team members


· Works collaboratively with the brand team to ensure the effective and efficient execution of brand deliverables


· Manage external agencies and ensure marketing budgets are met


· Seek and establish new partnerships for the brand


· Represent the brand as a spokesperson with media partners


· Direct, manage and represent the brand at industry events and trade shows


· Monitor sales & market trends, research regions and consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify key market opportunities and key issues


· Performs other special projects and duties as assigned


· Will specialize in and be responsible for one or more or the following areas:


· MEDIA:


· Develop, plan and oversee media strategy and execution of multi-facetted media mix including social, digital and traditional media


· Develop, plan and oversee PR strategy and ensure consistency in accordance with brand strategy


· Ensure optimal and efficient implementation of the advertising campaigns in the appropriate media


· Define brand health tracking to measure BA, FC and qualitative image attributes


· Create and nurture long-term relationships with key media influencers


· Optimize, measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) and adjust accordingly


· BRAND CAMPAIGNS


· Create, develop and implement fully integrated brand marketing campaigns consistently throughout the consumer experience journey in accordance with brand strategy


· Plan and develop major brand campaigns across channels


· Build and manage relationships with brand partners. Develop and execute marketing campaigns in accordance with brand strategy


· Develop marketing plans and campaigns for product launches and Home Connect that are fully integrated into the brand strategy.


· Spearhead consumer experience journey marketing for BOSH - website, blog, CRM


· Collaborate with Consumer Experience Journey team in developing initiatives for all touch points on the consumer journey


· BRAND STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION


· Collaborate with Sales in developing and executing marketing strategies in accordance with brand stagey and business plan.


· Collaborate with Sales to develop strategies that optimize brand presence at off and on line points of sales in terms of presence, content, traffic, etc.


· Collaborate with the EDCs in developing initiatives that ensure brand activation in accordance with brand strategy


· Plan and coordinate trade fairs and events with Sales


· Ensures 100% execution and strategic consistency of all brand activities in showrooms, retail network, trade, and distribution partners.


· Translate brand strategies into actionable brand plans, tactics, brand activations, field sales initiatives and create and implement fully integrated marketing campaigns



Your profile

· Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Business) – Required

· 5-7 Years of Experience (Brand Marketing) – Required

· 3-5 Years of Experience (Brand Management, Project Management) – Required

· Excellent verbal, written communication, analytical and presentation skills and an ability to influence others.

· Demonstrated project / program leadership skills.

· Strong business sense and ROI orientation.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects to meet tight deadlines.

· Excellent Project Management skills

· Ability to interact with multiple levels of management essential.

· Solid knowledge and experience in the areas of executing brand strategies, marketing principles and techniques, marketing mix management, consumer journey experience, managing creative, and development of promotions (including agency direction).

· Extensive marketing experience preferably in the appliance industry or smart technology. Ideally a proven track record in managing a premium consumer brand (durable or CPG) with a strong brand identity.

· Solid knowledge and experience in media planning and execution, preferably on agency side, including up to date knowledge of emerging digital marketing channels and digital marketing trends

· Budget-management skills and proficiency a must

· Travel Percentage – 30%

This is a hybrid role - minimum two days in the Irvine, CA office. Ideal candidate is local to the Irvine, CA office


Your Pay & Benefits

The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the maximum payout potential is 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
