Job description
Whitfield Regional Hospital, member of the UAB Health System, has an opening for a Behavioral Health Tech to work either Full-time or PRN (as needed) on day shifts or night shifts. Schedule for NIGHTS is 7:00P-7:00A with the schedule for DAYS: 7:00A-7:00P working various days during the week and some shifts over the weekend. Candidates with prior behavioral health experience and understanding of patients with mental illness are encouraged to apply although this is not required. Successful candidates have the opportunity to work on one of the following Behavioral Health Units: Adult Psychiatric unit, Detox unit, or Behavioral Health unit at the hospital. CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention certifications or willingness to be trained and certified required.
