The Chateau Ritz Elegant Banquets in Niles, IL is hiring Banquet Consultants! We are looking for an employee that can work up to 30 hours beginning immediately with additional hours available beginning in October 2023. Given the nature of our business, evenings and weekend hours are required. Our office is open 10 to 6, seven days a week!

We are a family owned and operated full service Banquet Hall offering a well decorated, elegant space with premium cuisine options for our guests!

The Banquet Consultant position is the perfect blend of sales and event planning. They are responsible for meeting with prospective guests to help create vision for their special event while sharing all that the Chateau Ritz has to offer. Additional duties include providing tours, explaining party packages, picking out linens and coordinating tastings. They will also book events, finalize contracts and stay in communication with the customers to ensure all payments are made and all questions/concerns are addressed. During events, the Banquet Consultant will check in with the hosts and guests to ensure complete satisfaction. They are also responsible for decorating our sweet table and for properly placing the place cards and table numbers on tables for guests.

The individual applying for this position should have experience in the hospitality field, sales and/or managing events. They should have excellent written and verbal communications skills. Computer skills is a must as well. Spanish speaking is a plus!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
