Seeking a professional Parts and Service Writer to join our busy service department!

Sleepy Hollow Chevrolet Buick of Cresco, Inc. is growing, and we want you to be a part of our award-winning team! Situated in scenic Northeast Iowa, Sleepy Hollow is a privately held family owned and operated dealership.

Do you have outstanding customer service skills? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? You should be a self-starter, highly motivated to maximize each service opportunity, be memorable in the eyes of our customers, and be passionate about what you are doing. We expect you to work extremely well as part of a team.

Parts and Service Writer Duties:

• As the first point of contact for automotive parts and service customers, show outstanding customer service.
• Use active listening to engage and understand the customer's vehicle issues and concerns.
• Create repair order and communicate vehicle needs clearly to service technician.
• Communicate vehicle diagnoses and maintenance needs to customer.
• Follow up on vehicles throughout the repair process, keeping customer updated.
• Interact with customers, vendors, and technicians in a professional manner always.
• Work between parts department and service department easily, as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be energetic, career minded & have great customer service skills
• Must have outstanding phone skills
• Must be able to work in fast-paced environment and multi-task
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Strong automotive knowledge and experience required
• Successful candidate must have a clean background, driving record, & valid driver's license
• Monday-Friday, with rotating Saturday's
• Previous automotive experience preferred
