Position Overview:

The Auto Body Shop Rhino Application Technician is responsible for Rhino and oil undercoat application as well as minor small body repair.

Who You Are:

  • You have 1+ years of experience in automotive repair and restoration
  • You have strong attention to detail and focus on the quality of your work
  • You are team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  • You are a reliable individual with a proven work ethic
  • You are passionate about taking care of the customer and you communicate well with service team members to ensure customers are receiving the accurate service in a timely manner
  • You have the keen ability to identify problems quickly
  • You consistently meet or exceed productivity and service standards

Essential Duties:

  • Prepare vehicle for body work / repair & refinishing
  • Application of Rhino and oil undercoat
  • Basic small body repairs
  • Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time.
  • Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal equipment, including a respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
  • Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management.
  • Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.
  • Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have a favorable motor vehicle record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
  • Authorized to work in the United States
