We are seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to support the development of multiple launching platforms in the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors business. The selected candidate will perform electrical design, analysis and test of launching and missile systems for air, surface, undersea, and hyper-sonic warfare systems as well as ship platform design for multiple Surface Navy platforms.

This position requires knowledge of electrical engineering principles, experience working in a team environment, and general knowledge of other related disciplines. Specific tasking will be but not limited to the selection and use of Commercial Off the Shelf components as well as custom hardware and/or other general electrical engineering. They will support development technical documentation such as initial design specifications, schematics, assembly drawings and parts list as well as preparing test procedures and reports to ensure customer and company requirements are met.

Position is in Moorestown, New Jersey.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s level degree in electrical
engineering, computer engineering, computer
science, or related disciplines to be obtained by summer 2023.
  • Candidates must have the ability to obtain a
DoD security clearance to at least the Secret
level.
Desired Skills:
  • Working experience within a lab environment,
basic test equipment, and computer applications
will be necessary as demonstrated via
completion of a small team project.
  • Familiarity with Computer Aided Design (CAD)
environments.
  • Experience with programs such as Pspice,
HFSS, Zuken, MATLAB, and/or LabVIEW.
  • Professional engineering experience through
internships or university lab
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written
communication skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
