Our client is a building materials reuse facility, offering great deals and interesting finds to people who need inexpensive building materials and are interested in keeping materials out of the waste stream.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Management/Administration

• Open/close store; Facility key holder, update and post weekly Staff Schedule
• Supervise Cashiers in long- and short-term projects and daily activities including training and feedback
• Help ensure a clean, safe, organized, and well-maintained warehouse
• Produce & maintain pricing documentation, procedures and reports for review as needed

Customer Service

• Open and close cashier shifts; participate in cashier shifts, provide service on the Sales Floor & during check-out process
• Ensure accurate data entry in both Membership & Distribution sections of FileMaker, Hold/Sold book & all client records
• Respond to phone & electronic inquiries across social media and other platforms

Product Management

• Support Store Manager & Executive Director with project planning & execution, marketing, and merchandising product
• Compose & distribute Weekly (product) Features email across platforms (email & social media)
• Utilize Shopify, Canva, Constant Contact, Instagram, in store signs and other resources to accurately promote products

Cash Handling

• Manage & track data for daily count in and out procedures, including cash deposits & change orders
• Direct & maintain procedures for all transactions, holds, and cashier’s station supplies
• Troubleshoot system issues: Credit Card machines, POS System or transaction errors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
