CUMULUS MEDIA | Nashville, TN is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and organized individual to work as an Assistant Promotion Director for the Music Audio Channels (103.3 Country; 95.5 Nash Icon and 92Q). The ideal candidate will work directly with the Promotions, Digital, Sales, and Programming departments to develop and execute successful promotional concepts. This role requires someone who is a quick thinker, great problem solver, and has an excellent work ethic. The Assistant Promotion Director must be available to work some nights and weekends and be able to work in a fast-paced office environment.

Cumulus Nashville, TN is home five radio stations 103.3 Country (WKDF), 95.5 Nash Icon (WSM-FM), 99.7 SuperTalk (WTN), 104.5 The Zone (WGFX) and 92Q (WQQK.) We are the Tennessee Titans and Nashville Soccer broadcast partners and the Nashville affiliate for the University of Tennessee Volunteers.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the Promotion Director on developing and executing ideas; while also managing day-to-day duties (calendar; contesting; social; on-site events; listener & client engagement, etc.)
• Work with the Digital, Sales, and Programming departments to develop and execute successful promotional concepts
• Plan and execute events, including coordinating with vendors, managing expenses, and handling logistics
• Handle public relations activities, such as creating press releases and reaching out to media outlets
• Manage social media accounts, including creating content and engaging with followers
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to unexpected interruptions while still meeting deadlines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Associates degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in event planning, promotions or marketing
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Highly motivated with a great work ethic
• Self-starter who can take initiative and anticipate needs
• Flexible schedule –in-office business hours required and will includes some nights, weekends, and some holidays
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, familiar with graphic-video design software and social media platforms
