With a ratio of 1 staff to 2 students, we are able to offer specialized care to these young people with emphasis on teaching daily living and coping skills.

You will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. You will supervise staff, run shifts, assist the Program Manager with development of programming for the unit and attending Treatment Reviews as part of the milieu team. You will have opportunities to interact directly with clients as well as staff.

Qualifications:
Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license
  • Two years’ experience working directly with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses required
  • High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills and mastery of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to be flexible, patient, energetic, and creative
  • Have a strong passion for working with and helping adolescents/adults with special needs
  • Orientation: The first 2 weeks of employment, Monday - Friday from 8am - 4pm
  • Proceeding Orientation, the shift for this position is 3pm - 11pm
