We take a client’s grand opening event, rebranding announcement, holiday party, employee happy hour or any other celebration and shape these important events into unforgettable memories.

During this time, we helped keep bartender’s employed with over $1.75M in livable wages paid to deliver physical craft cocktails from phone to front door for our Enterprise clients (Google, Apple, UBS, Netflix, ABC/Warner Brothers) as well as B2C with the largest craft cocktail delivery business in the country.

Post COVID -19, we’re merging the eCommerce/virtual business with our pre-pandemic in person business of Mass Festival & Enterprise events that drove 17% EBITDA in 2019.

The Role:

The Associate Operations Manager is a part time role responsible for the execution and fulfillment of the business-to-consumer (B2C) and enterprise business lines on a Friday – Saturday schedule (15 hrs – 20 hrs per week). The B2C line of business focuses on bottle and cocktail kit delivery directly to consumers on platforms such as UberEats, DoorDash, SourcedCraftCocktails.com and TheBar.Com. The enterprise line of business executes small live events for corporations. The position will also be cross trained as a back-up to take customer service calls (average 3-5 per day) that are generally minor issues or questions in the B2C line of business. We are a growing company; we are constantly changing and making improvements to our business model. As such, the Associate Operations Manager must maintain a high degree of flexibility and ability to implement changes received from management.

This position reports directly to the Houston Operations Manager. This is a highly independent role, with the execution orders being fully your responsibility. You will regularly interact with a variety of independent contractors, to include bartenders, drivers, and laborers.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Fully owning the daily operations of the business-to-consumer (B2C) business unitPulling orders from the various ordering platforms and ensuring that they are correctly packed and ready for pick-up on time, every time

Following provided recipes to build cocktail syrups and other cocktail kit ingredients
Interacting with independently contracted drivers to give and receive cocktail orders scheduled for delivery as needed

  • Assisting in the execution of Enterprise In-Person EventsAssist Operations Manager in preparing for events

Ensure kitchen is maintained and cleaned

  • Resolving customer service callsAnswer phone and email inquiries from customers

Work with internal team to resolve any issues

  • There are opportunities for this candidate to assist in operations at live events and festivals, as the candidate desires to do so and the company can arrange schedules

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Class C driver's license for duration of employment
  • Current state required food/alcohol server’s certification
  • Intermediate proficiency with all Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Intermediate proficiency in Google Workspace
  • Ability to perform a variety of physical activities and regularly lift over 50 lbs
  • Punctual and good time-management practices
  • Can maintain a safe healthy work environment
  • Ability to interact with employees of all levels in a professional, engaging, and constructive manner
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative, team-based environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the distribution, hospitality, events, or craft cocktail industries
  • Hospitality or bartending experience with the ability to create syrups and identify different types of spirits

Work Schedule: Friday & Saturday

Compensation: $22/hr paid weekly (expected 20 hours/week)
