Purpose

~ Works with Parts Process & Planning Senior Manager to support, sustain and grow operational programs. Assist in analyzing and reporting on the Division's budget activity.

Major Responsibilities

~ Support Parts Process & Planning Senior Manager in developing and managing parts and service programs. Communicate and collaborate with program vendors and help manage client / supplier relationship.

~ Create and submit Purchase Orders, statements of work, schedule of compensation, and executive summary documents.

~ Initiate and review Request for Proposal to solicit vendor responses and prepare scorecards for management approval. ~ Manage program performance, ensure compliance, escalate, and resolve issues. Work with Hyundai internal departments, HAEA, and Mobis training departments to create and deploy training materials.

~ Develop and distribute program and communication materials. Support and interface with Hyundai region and dealer staff as it relates to parts and service programs. Evaluate, analyze, and report on program performance.

~ Identify opportunities for brand building, operational efficiencies, program enhancements, and prepare/implement recommendations as approved.

~ Manage day to day vendor dropship program activities (dealer/vendor inquiries, billing, announcements, etc.)

~ Support Parts Process & Planning Senior Manager in collaborating with Parts supplier to achieve Fill rate objectives.

~ Support Parts Process & Planning Senior Manager in developing and coordinating the annual division budget. Ensure Parts &Service departments stays within budget and in compliance with HMA's Finance and Administration policies. Provide support to each Parts & Service department in their budget requirements/needs and other budget related and billing activities. Activities to include identifying budget variances, budget transfers, GL budget correction, monthly accruals, etc.

Major Responsibilities (continued)

~ Prepare and submit Year End Reman Reconciliation and Other billing reconciliation for factory reimbursement.

~ Manage parts supplier billing, including drop ship program, and reconcile discrepancies. Support Parts Planning Associate in validating and processing invoices when needed. Review billing transactions and invoices for accuracy and thoroughness of supporting documentation.

~ Train team members on division programs and budget to promote development and knowledge sharing as requested by management. Participate in cross – functional training as required by management.

~ Support Parts Sales Manager and Service group to increase parts sales through reporting, program management and any other duties as assigned.

~ Assist in designing, documenting, launching, and enhancing new and current Parts Systems and Operations Interfaces. Create test scripts and perform user acceptance testing. Participate in developing, testing, deploying, and evaluating parts systems projects.

~ Create and maintain detailed procedural manuals for parts programs and projects.

~ Interact with Region and Dealer personnel as required to supports parts and service programs.

~ Provide back up support for planning team as needed.

~ Complete ad hoc projects, assignments and tasks as deemed appropriate and assigned by management.

~ Support all corporate, division and department goals and objectives.

Authority

~ Review and revise works done by Parts Planning Associate and subordinate (when applicable).

~ Review and revise works provided by program vendors and affiliates.

Education

~ Bachelor’s degree preferred
~ Master’s degree a plus
~ Must be a high school graduate

Related Experience

~ Five to six years of work experience of which at least three years of directly related experience in automotive parts or service.

~ Experience in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on fixed operations process.

~ Program management and vendor relations experience desired.

~ Working experience of financial planning and budgeting experience is preferred.

Skills/Knowledge

~ Excellent verbal and written communications skills to allow effective interaction with all levels of the organization.

~ Ability to work independently, under pressure of deadlines, handle multiple priorities and pay close attention to detail.

~ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.

~ Ability to thrive in a team environment.

~ Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

$65,800.00 - $94,000.00 Annual
