The Dive Oyster Bar, a Cajun-Creole inspired restaurant, introduces Southern comfort food to Temple City through our specialty kettle bar. We strive to use quality ingredients and seafood — delivering the most flavorful dishes to Temple City, CA diners. The Dive SKC aims to create a lively dining experience that welcomes families, dates, business meetings and everything in between. Job Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to guest
• Ensure knowledge of restaurant's food, drinks and concept
• Restaurant meets its service, labor, and sales objectives

• Supervise, lead, and direct the activities of staff to make sure that customers have a pleasant experience through prompt and polite service
• Communicate regularly with all tables and anticipate their needs
• Make sure that all staff members comply with safe food handling procedures

• Supervise food preparation and cooking activities to ensure compliance with the health and hygiene principals of the restaurant

Requirements 1 years behind a full liquor bar Mixology, beer and wine knowledge Must be able to work various shifts, including nights and weekends

• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• At least 1 year serving guests or a year in the restaurant industry.
• Excellent knowledge of POS systems and computer applications
• Desire to work as part of a team
• Passionate and willing to learn
• Being able to handle multiple tasks at once and execute them proficiently
• Engage customers in positive dialogue to ensure return business and take and resolve any complaints from them

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 3 years (Required)
