Welsh Construction is currently seeking an Assistant to our Project Management and Estimating team. This candidate will support all levels and members of Project(s) to ensure smooth and efficient operations during a Construction project from preliminary pricing to completion. This is an entry-level position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Clear and consistent supply of information between all parties involved in the project including, but not limited to the Estimator, Project Superintendent and Subcontractors, Client, Architect, and Project Manager.
• Perform document control duties including RFP's, RFI's, RFI Logs, Submittals and Submittal logs, Meeting Minutes, Permitting, Change Orders as well as any other document control duties required of the project.
• Read, understand and print plans.
• This position will primarily support the PM and Estimating team, but will also support all Team Members as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or pursuing a bachelor's degree with a concentration in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
• Familiarity with construction software is beneficial.
• Strong writing and analytical skills and computer aptitude to quickly learn or adopt new software applications.
• Must be flexible and able to handle pressure well.
• Professional demeanor and versatile people skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to produce error-free work under pressure.
