The Asset Protection (AP) Analyst will be responsible for identifying, organizing, compiling and analyzing large sets of data to identify trends within the business. Additionally, the Asset Protection Analyst will report these trends to the Asset Protection team, cross-functional field leaders (DMs, RVPs, etc.) along with action-based solutions to correct identified opportunities. This role will analyze data from various sources and would use that information to assess the businesses efficiency and execution of processes in stores and operational sites. This role will review security related help desk tickets daily and work with the appropriate contacts to ensure security systems are operating a t full capacity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Using available data sources, including POS data, create and publish accurate weekly, monthly, and yearly store level dashboards to support store field leaders and AP field leaders to support purposeful and impactful site visits, with a true focus on exception management.
  • Develop weekly exception-based reporting, using information with Dutchie, Leaflogix,etc. to identify and support investigations into incidents of internal theft and fraud.
  • Provide support and act as a resource for Asset Protection/Security related functions to field leaders, including Asset Protection, Dispensary Managers, Regional VP and Operations.
  • Analyze store point-of-sale, inventory, cash, and other operating information to publish shrink data to relative cross-functional partners and the AP team.
  • Regularly reporting to the AP team to ensure timely and accurate completion of scheduled AP audits.
  • Work with Finance partners to develop accurate reporting regarding true cash loss in retail locations.
  • Immediate support of active investigations through targeted CCTV video review and dedicated CCTV surveillance.
  • Travel Requirements: 15%

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma.
  • 1+ years' experience in data analysis or statistical methods in a retail or business operations setting.
  • 1 + years of related experience.
  • 1-3 years advance usage of Microsoft Office/365.
  • Excel proficiency with pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, formulas, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to review data, identify trends and assist in generating solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, time management, and ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree.
  • Experience using and manipulating data sets within Tableau Cloud.
  • Previous experience with the use of exception-based reporting and analysis.
  • 2+ years' experience applying data review and analysis to identify trends and assess how to improve company-wide performance.
