Application Engineer
Growing northwest equipment supplier in need of an application engineer to join the growing engineering team at our Woodinville, WA location. The company has been in business for 50+ years, has grown 50% in the last 10 years, and is continuing to expand. We represent the highest quality equipment in the water, wastewater, hydroelectric, and industrial markets. Looking for a candidate to grow with the company. Job duties include:
- Fielding inquiries from consulting engineers, and customers, and assisting with equipment sizing, installation recommendations/guidelines, pricing, and providing detailed product information.
- Review of consulting engineers' designs, plans, and specifications.
- Coordinate with our salespeople, vendors, and subcontractors for project/system package design, bidding, approval, supply, and start-up.
- Conduct technical presentations for consulting engineers and customers
- Accompany and assist salespeople at customer sites and trade shows.
- Some regular regional travel for sales and periodic national travel for training
Education Requirement: BS in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering. Others may be considered.
Experience: 1-3 years of consulting or application engineering experience preferred
Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office software, AutoCAD, or similar preferred (not required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
