The Application Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software applications through collaboration with cross-functional teams ensuring that applications are designed and developed to meet the needs of our customers.
Essential Duties
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to develop application architecture and strategy.
- Design and develop high-quality software applications that meet customer requirements.
- Define application standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure that all applications are designed and developed consistently.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement software development processes that ensure high-quality software is delivered on time and within budget.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code is well-designed, testable, and maintainable.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.
Experience, Education, Certifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in application architecture and software development.
- Experience in developing large-scale, high-performance applications.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with software development frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or React.
- Familiarity with cloud computing technologies such as AWS or Azure.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Competencies
- Strong technical skills in Azure, API Management, App Services, .NET, REST APIs, and C#
- Experience with cloud-based application architectures, microservices, and serverless computing
- Strong understanding of software development best practices and methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
