Stellar IT has an immediate opportunity for a API Production Support Engineer for a Remote position with a client based in USA.

This is a Contract position with one of my direct end clients looking to hire someone within 2 weeks.

Job Description:
What are the 3-4 non-negotiable requirements of this position?
1) Experience with XML, SOAP, JSON API structures
2) Experience with testing APIs using tools like Postman
3) Experience with SQL and other programming languages related to database queries
4) Experience with agricultural software solutions such as Operations Center

Troubleshooting issues and finding solutions.
Provide technical support for API and data products to both internal and external software developers.
Experience in handling customer service questions.
Experience with directly supporting customers of software products.
Triage and debug quality issues and drive resolution by escalating to the appropriate individuals/teams.
Ensure documentation is up to date.
Provide technical onboarding and support to 3rd party software platforms leveraging API and data products.
Work with the API enablement development teams to continuously refine, optimize, and automate the API support process.
Good communication skills are key, with regular and often communication when troubleshooting.
Being able to understand how support or backend tools work, and how they work and interact together to pull together a complete picture of the root cause.
Rely on the API documentation that is already created, and for questions not answered by the documentation being able to communicate to internal teams for help is key.
