The primary purpose of this position is to plan, design, initiate and conduct experiments in support of Product Development. This includes de-formulations of products, method development, method validation and method transfer activities. In addition, this position will support activities surrounding technology transfers both internal and external to the facility. Practical and theoretical knowledge in HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, Particle Size analysis, and infrared spectroscopy are essential along with a strong working knowledge of wet-chemistry techniques.

Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with 5 + years relevant experience. Doctorate (Ph.D., PharmD) with 2 + years relevant experience is preferred. Must have the ability to make decisions independently. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Ability to perform under stressful situations. Demonstrated Leadership skills. Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience in non-typical problem-solving methodologies. Experience in a science related field and experience associated with the production of drug products . Good computer skills. Previous pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
