Our Waynesboro, PA office was founded in March 2019. We are looking to add a restoration technician to our team. As a restoration technician, you are a key team member responsible for the restoration of carpets and upholstery. In addition, you will be responsible for cleaning up properties that have been damaged by water, smoke, fire or mold. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.

This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, thrive in fast moving environments, and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. You have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers, and are able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Be able to interact with customers in disaster responses.
• Become proficient in water restoration, mold remediation, and fire damage clean-up
• Maintain professional, positive attitude and appearance at all times.
• Establish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely manner
• Respond to water jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC standards and Rainbow Restoration's process
• Through documentation of jobs from start to finish; scope, sketches, photos, standardized forms, always available and up-to-date.
• Communicate with customers about scope of work and review necessary paperwork
• Maintain all company restoration and cleaning equipment, keeping them clean and properly maintained to be available at all times
• Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions

Job Requirements:

• Construction experience helpful, but not required
• Valid Driver's License
• Able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Computer literate, with working knowledge of word processing, business software and spreadsheet applications
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be service oriented, focused on the needs of both customers and your team.
• Ability to facilitate, direct, and lead job work sites on a day-to-day basis.
• Be on call every other week.
• Must have smart phone with ability to take high quality photos.
• Must be willing and able to further education by completing industry standard certification classes. Some travel for classes may be required.
