Summary
Barry University, School of Podiatric Medicine located in Miami Shores, FL, between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, invites applications from dynamic candidates for an Adjunct Faculty position to teach a two credit Internal Medicine II course for the Summer 2023 semester (May 15 through July 28, 2023).
This is an In-person position.
Essential Functions
The primary responsibilities of the Adjunct Faculty will be to teach this in-person, hands-on course while adhering to all COVID-19 protocols.
Additional duties will include administering and grading assessments utilizing ExamSoft™, reporting grades in the Canvas Learning Management System, proctoring examinations, and student advisement.
Qualifications/Requirements

Master's degree required

Doctoral degree – Field of study: DPM, MD, DO or PA preferred

Relevant teaching experience preferred

A DPM, MD, DO or PA degree is preferred although other appropriately well-qualified candidates may be considered.

Previous experience teaching in this field at a professional medical school setting is preferred.

A strong commitment to teaching a diverse population of medical students is highly sought.
