Job description

I. PURPOSE OF JOB: To identify, analyze and resolve unpaid insurance receivable balances that exceed the third party payer clean claim payment cycle and resolve reimbursement issues to guarantee the timely, efficient and maximum reimbursement for services performed.

II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Research and resolve unpaid Insurance balances.

2. Research and resolve third party payer payments.

3. Competent use of departmental information systems.

4. Research, review and process all correspondence received.

5. Review and process patient statements after insurance payments.

6. Report any payer issues to Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $23.25 per hour
