Accounting Associate

Kentucky Wesleyan College, a private, liberal arts college with a long-standing reputation for quality and academic excellence, is seeking applications for a part-time Accounting Associate to join our community and support the financial functions of the Business Office.

Major Responsibilities

• Reconciles accounts.
• Prepares and processes journal entries.
• Reviews accounting records for accuracy and completeness.
• Compiles data and information for reports, working with various offices as needed.

Qualifications

• An associate degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Experience with and knowledge of MS Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with close attention to detail.

The Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers compete in NCAA Division II and are charter members of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference comprising teams from Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Athletic teams include baseball, basketball, bowling, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, track and field, volleyball, and wrestling.
