Gearcor, part of the Columbia Safety family of companies, is the leading distributor of safety equipment, footwear, uniforms, tools, and fall protection equipment for the North American Renewable Energy industry.
As a team, we leverage a custom-designed, best-in-class Safety Management platform and mobile app in order to provide our customers with unmatched ordering efficiency, reporting, and spend control tools.
As a Gearcor Account Manager, you will work closely with our clients and our sales support team, growing corporate accounts and leaning into the needs of the businesses we serve. Daily you will be providing a seamless client experience while leveraging our Gearcor Marketplace platform for efficiency and the speed of business.
As part of the Gearcor sales team, your daily activities will include timely order processing, stellar customer service, high-level communication, and positive interactions with our stakeholders - clients, teammates, and vendors.
Our teammates are highly trained, vital points of contact for our clientele. This is not a typical sales support role, when you join our team, you receive ongoing and in-depth training in order to be a high-impact resource for our clients. Our employees are Gear Experts and you will skillfully be able to represent Gearcor and the entire Columbia Safety family of companies to our customers. Within our tight-knit group, you will rapidly acquire a complete understanding of our product lines.

Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead client support and communication
- Support order management and processing by working with customers to ensure prompt product delivery
- Learn and understand client operational structure and adapt company platform(s) to meet needs
- Creatively troubleshoot and resolve issues, building strategy for resolution before problems arise
- Establish and maintain consistent communication methods and cadence with clients
- Become an expert in Gearcor products and their relevance to clients
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create an excellent client experience
- Provide honest, consistent, and actionable feedback to Senior Account Manager(s)
- Other duties as needed to create an exceptional experience for our stakeholders
