Aerotek Aviation is currently accepting resumes for licensed A&P Technicians for a client of ours performing line and heavy maintenance on small regional piston aircraft, either the Cessna 402 or Tecnam P2012 turbo prop at ORD in Chicago.

Job Description:

• Aircraft Mechanic working on small regional piston aircraft, either the Cessna 402 or Tecnam P2012 turbo prop.
• Line and heavy maintenance on regional aircraft.
• Mechanics with Part 121 experience and/or MRO experience are preferred
• Work out at ORD inside of a hanger. Mostly inside but can go outside from time to time.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Requires A license - Experience with Line Maintenance or heavy mx, troubleshoot and repair.
• They prefer A&P, but will accept Airframe license as well.
• Shifts: Mostly day shift, 5x8’s that start between 6-10a so as a shop they cover from 6a-8p without overworking staff.
• They are an airline, their open 7 days week, so candidates should be available for any shift. They will put them on the same days every week and typically no-one works Sat AND Sun, it would likely will be one or the other.
• Other aircraft types: Cessna, Piper, Caravan, Grand Caravan, Skyhawk, Skylane, Turbo Stationair, Sky Courier, 400, 206, TTX, 172, 182, 340, Fairchild Metroliner, Saab 340, Beechcraft, 1900, King-Air, de Havilland, Fokker, Dornier
• Strongly prefer experience or desire to work on Piston engine aircraft.

Work Environment

Working mostly in hanger at ORD. Small team, that gets to work independently.

Compensation:

• Pay Rate range - $30-$35 per hour based on experience
