JOB TITLE: 3D Graphic Artist
LOCATION: Remote and/or Onsite
STATUS: Full-time, Exempt, Salary

**DAILY AND WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Ø Design graphics for a variety of delivery systems.
Ø Work with Instructional Designers and Programmers to develop simulations and interactive multimedia courseware.
Ø Research and identify sources for graphic images.
Ø Scale design efforts to meet production timelines.
Ø Develop visual concepts for interactive multimedia courseware and compose treatment.
Ø Perform work without appreciable direction.
Ø Work well in a team environment.
Ø Keep abreast of the latest graphics technology and software tools.
Ø Other duties and projects as assigned and needed
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Ø AS/AA or BS/BA degree in graphics-related field preferred. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree, if applicable and or allowed under assigned contract.
Ø Minimum 3-5 years of experience developing high-quality 3D graphics, illustrations, and animations using graphic software tools.
Ø Expertise in developing graphics for technology-delivered instruction (e.g., web-based training, CD-ROM).
Ø Proficient in the latest versions of 3D graphic software programs such as 3D Studio Max, Maya, Flash, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Ø Must have strong modeling, high poly sculpting, and texture skills.
Ø Must have a strong interest in the creation of high-res pre-rendered visuals
Ø Must have a critical eye and be able to flourish in and adapt to the visual intent of the project
Ø Ability to offer solutions to Instructional Designers and conceptualize and produce quality graphics based on script/storyboards.
Ø Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task.
Ø Ability to function effectively and efficiently in a deadline-oriented environment.
Ø Strong oral communication skills and the ability to work on a team are essential.
Ø Familiarization with ADL SCORM and ADA Section 508 compliance requirements is desired.
Ø Due to the nature of the work at Carley, this position requires U.S. citizenship
